Korean-Style Cafe - WHITE.cafe

This time, I would like to introduce the cafe called "WHITE.cafe" in Yamate. It's within a 10 minute walk from JR Yamate Station. This shop is a Korean-style cafe that just opened in July 2020. It's a popular cafe for young women because it's decorated in white and looks great on Instagram. 

There is also a kids space so you can come with children.

I ordered "Strawberry Milk Tart" (¥770) and ice tea (¥550). This tart is seasonal. The dough below was cocoa tart, and there was a whole strawberry inside. I had the idea that it would be sweet, but it wasn't too sweet and was just right. The cakes in this shop change depending on the season, so you can enjoy various cakes. 

This shop has a one-drink order system, so you need to order one of your favorite drinks.

Next to this cafe is a special take-out shop called "WHITE.cafe roastery". Here you can take-out cakes and drinks that are available at the cafe. Both shops are popular, so if you go late, they will sell out often. This cafe is only open until 17:00 in the evening, so it is recommended to go early.

Yokohama's Strongest No.1 Hamburger - Penny's Diner

Today I would like to introduce a shop called "Penny's Diner" that I recently went to . This is a hamburger shop in Sakuragicho. It's a 3 minute walk from the Minatomirai Line Nihon Odori Station, so I think It's far from Sakuragicho.

I ordered a "Cheddar Cheese Burger" this time. It contains cheddar cheese, meat, onions, tomatoes and lettuce. I think this bun is thicker and harder than other hamburgers. However, the meat was juicy and the cheddar cheese melted in the heat, so it was very delicious.  Hamburgers, sandwiches and tacos come with French fries. This is quite a lot, so I recommend you go when you're hungry. The price of a cheddar cheese burger is 1530 yen. And this shop has a one-drink order system, so you need to order one of your favorite drinks.

This shop is famous as the place where Eito, he sings "Kousui（香水)". The atmosphere is American and you can enjoy a different space than usual. If you like the American atmosphere or hamburgers, I definitely want you to go. Business hours and holidays of this shop change depending on the day, so you need to check the website before you go.

Japanese Cafe - Momiji Chaya

Hello everyone!! Today, I'd like to introduce one of my favorite cafes called "Momiji Chaya" (もみじ茶屋). It's located on Komachi Street, Onari Street in Kamakura and Mitsui Outlet Park Yokohama Bayside. 

I always order "Rice Bowl with Boiled Shonan Whitebait and Misaki Tuna" (釜揚げ湘南しらすと三崎マグロのおひつごはん). It has a lot of red tuna, green onions and boiled whitebait. Please try this first as is, without adding anything to the food and you add soup stock to make Ochazuke at your favorite timing. Please add the included condiments if you like. By doing so you can enjoy the change in taste. The price is 1490 yen (＋tax).

If you come to eat dessert, I recommend Uji Matcha Tiramisu (宇治抹茶ティラミス). Many people may know this because it is famous. It's in a box and it's very sweet and delicious. If you like matcha, I definitely want you to eat it. The price is 650 yen (＋tax).

I think the price is high but it's very delicious. I have been to all 3 shops. The atmosphere is very calm, so I think this shop is popular with men and women of all ages. But it is always crowded. In Kamakura, I think the Onari shop is more vacant.

Italian Restaurant - TAVOLO DI FIORI

I would like to introduce one of my recent favorite restaurants called TAVOLO DI FIORI. TAVOLO DI FIORI means table flower (テーブルの花) in Italian. This is an Italian restaurant. It's located on the 10th floor of the Keikyu Department Store in Kamiooka. Infection control is taken inside the store, and the staff is kind.

I always order a lunch set called a half-and-half set. You can choose your favorite pasta and pizza or risotto for this set. And this set also comes with salad and drink, and you can add dolce for a plus fee. The minimum price for this set is 1280 yen, as prices vary by products.

My favorite pasta is called "shrimp and selva chico crab tomato cream sauce fettuccine", and my favorite pizza is "margherita". If you like spicy taste, I recommend using homemade Tabasco. By applying this, you can eat more deliciously. 

The amount is just right and it's very delicious. I thought this set was revolutionary because I get bored of just pizza or pasta. 

The inside of the store is spacious and you can enter without waiting even at lunch time. This store begins serving early, so it's recommended if you want to eat immediately. This store also has a location in Shinjuku.

Kamakura Cafe - OXYMORON Komachi

I would like to introduce Oxymoron. It's located on Komachi Street in Kamakura. It takes about 7 minutes from Kamakura Station. This is a cafe famous for Japanese-style keema curry. I thought that this shop had a calm atmosphere and there were many women.

When I went there, I ordered Japanese-style keema curry and homemade ginger ale. Japanese-style keema curry has a lot of green onions and hot spring eggs on top of the keema curry. You can choose the spiciness of the curry from mild to hard. The price is 1,320 yen.

Homemade ginger ale is made by mixing grated real ginger with carbonated water so it's very painful. Please be careful if you are not comfortable with spicy drinks.

The food in this shop is the shop is very good, but very crowded. If you take a numbered ticket at the entrance and register your email address, you will receive an email when your seating time comes. I recommend that you make a reservation as the number of seats is small. Also, please be careful as the business hours are short.

Today I introduced the Komachi store but this store is a chain and there are two locations in Kamakura.
